Just thought I’d share that that with you and save you some money.
Anyway, the reason why, you will get a water leak is because of lack of maintenance or in some cases poor air conditioning service and maintenance programme. Dust and dirt has formed which is blocking the drainage system for the condensate to discharge. This can be more serious for air conditioing units in the server rooms when they are working flat out 24/7 if they haven’t been serviced what would happen if you had a water leak down the walls, and over your servers…ouch..just think of all that data loss! For the sake of your health and safety your air conditioning systems need regular preventative maintenance programme to keep them in tip top condition, prolong the life and to keep them working like new and more important keeping them healthy. Also, Did you also know that it’s a legal requirement for all air conditioning systems of 5kw and over to be certificated every year and have a leak test otherwise you can be prosecuted?. You didn’t? …Really? How come your current air conditioning service provider isn’t doing this for you, all of our customers are kep up to date with any legislation which comes into effect?
If you have used a standard desk fan you will notice how filthy dirty that gets on the blades and the grille from regular use and that doesn’t have a filter.
