Here’s a great recipe that Abbie absolutely adores! I’ve made these for Abbie and a Lizzie, spaniel friend of hers that is a RAW diet eater, and both dogs adored them. ½ cup brown rice 2 cups chicken broth 2 slices bacon 1 large egg ½ cup dried bread crumbs ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese Put rice and chicken broth in saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat, reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered until the rice is tender, about 20 minutes.
