Over the years I have seen and tried many different ways to make money on the internet. When it comes to home business marketing there are literally infinite possibilities. This is the awesome thing about the internet, anyone can do it in some way shape or form.

One of my favorite ways to make money from home is MLM or Multi Level Marketing. It is also known as network marketing. The Berry Tree is an example. But one thing I have learned over the years is that MLM is not for everyone. Some people just don’t have what it takes to succeed in MLM. And most of the time it’s not their fault. You see, most of the time people are led to believe that it’s easy, a get rich quick scheme. And nothing could be farther from the truth. To truly succeed in MLM it takes a lot of hard work and dedication and it does take a lot of time. Anyone that says you can do it in 1 or 2 hours a week and make a ton of money is full of it. It just doesn’t happen. You also need to be a people person and have good communication skills. Without communication in MLM success is not possible and that’s the bottom line

So what can you do if you decide MLM is not for you? There are many options but luckily for you I’m here to tell you that you’re not on your own. No pieces to the puzzle are left out. If I would have found this years ago knowing what I know now, I would have paid $1000’s of dollars for this information, that’s how good it is. Well, all I can say is it has not been a very fun week. Hurricane Gustav wreaked havoc on this region and hundreds of thousands of people are without power and other utilities. I am still without power here in Vacherie but we did get phones and internet back today, woohooo!!!

My home sustained a little bit of roof damage but overall I guess I’ll say it could have been worse. I am grateful for what we have.

Please keep all of the people affected in your prayers.

We are deep in the heart of Hurricane Gustav now here in Vacherie, Louisiana. The eye is passing about 30 miles away from us and we are seeing hurricane force winds now. Overall it’s not as bad as it could have been and I think we’ll be ok. Luckily we haven’t even lost power yet and as you can see I am still able to make this post. I love technology! lol.

Well, for the last 3 days we’ve been boarding up homes, buying supplies, and doing everything humanly possible to prepare for Hurricane Gustav. Lot’s of fun! Actually I’m pretty beat and ready to finally sit back and relax and maybe even drink a beer. lol

I just want to wish everyone in the gulf coast region good luck and God bless you all.

This past week we were in the Bahamas for the annual Nutronix Berry Tree Convention and wow what a week it was!

It was great to see all of my good friends that I have made over the last few years and to meet a few new people too. We learned about a lot of great things we have coming here. We were also introduced to a few new products as well. Nutronix and The Berry Tree never cease to amaze me and it is always great to hear from the great leadership Nutronix and The berry Tree have to offer.

Shane and Shawn Woods and myself went up to Virginia last week to the Nutronix Home office for a visit. We had a wonderful time meeting everyone there. Shane Woods, Art and Rob Phelps and Carolyn Kerr shot a video for a news segment that will air later this year.

It was great seeing everyone there and it got me even more excited about the Nutronix convention next week in the Bahamas. I can’t wait to see everyone at convention!

I have recently been made aware of a recent talk show hosts comments that are just plain ridiculous. Michael Savage, a nationally syndicated talk show host made these comments about Autism

“Now you want me to tell you my opinion on autism since I’m not talking about autism … a fraud, a racket,” Michael Savage said last week on his radio show, “The Savage Nation.”

The shock jock went on to say, “What do you mean they scream and they’re silent? They don’t have a father around to tell them don’t act like a moron, you’ll get nowhere in life. Stop acting like a putz. Straighten up! Act like a man! Don’t sit there crying and screaming, idiot.’”

 This is just plain sad. If he would have been talking about the over diagnosis of ADHD I might have been inclined to agree with him. But the comments he made about Autism simply show that he is not educated on the subject at all which makes him a total moran for making the comments.

In my son Luke’s case he is 8 years old and cannot speak a word. He is still in diapers and needs help with feeding and other things as well. So according to Michael Savage, all I have to do is yell at him to stop acting like a putz! While I’m at it maybe I can beat him until he tells me why he’s crying right?
